A freelancer is a person who works independently. These freelancers are able to work on their won rules, target, no boss and only work for self employment. The freelancer industry is very huge. What are the opportunities in freelance industry? There are many opportunities available in this market. For example, if you are a programmer or a web designer or creative writer then this is a good opportunity for you. You can work from the very first day and start earning in US dollars. When it comes to freelancing jobs, it is one of the easiest jobs to do.

And now question rose in your mind that what kind projects are available in freelance industry? There are unlimited numbers of projects is available in this industry for programming and development work. If you can hand le a project independently this again this is a huge opportunity for you. And how much I can earn? Well, this also depends on you that how much you want to earn monthly. In my opinion, sky is the limit in this industry. You have to follow a thing except only those freelance projects that you have the ability to deliver. Freelance projects are not very tuff if you can manage it. How I get paid? You will get a secure payment from pay pal. Pay pal is secure online transaction methods accepted worldwide. - writer employment

The Delayed Milestone

Delayed milestone, also called developmental delays, is used to describe the condition where a child does not reach one of these stages at the expected age. However, in most cases, a wide variety of ages can be considered normal, and not a cause for medical concern. Milestones are often measured using percentiles, and for many milestones a value between the 5th and 95th percentile does not require intervention, though values towards the edges of that range can be associated with other medical conditions.

Source: wikipedia.org : bonus casinos

NEW YORK (Fortune) -- With General Motors poised to enter Chapter 11 reorganization, the question arises: What will the bankrupt company look like and how will it be different?

The answer to the second part is "a lot." The answer to the first is nobody knows for sure, but it may not be pretty.

At the outset, let's establish one fact: assuming an entity called "General Motors" does emerge from bankruptcy, it will be a different company than the one that went in. Only the good bits will come out: Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC and the plants needed to make the parts and assemble the cars and trucks.

The bad bits -- Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, Saab, Opel and other legacy operations -- will be left behind in another company. New GM could emerge from bankruptcy in 60 days to 90 days; old GM could be stuck there for several years.

New GM could just as well be called "Government Motors," because the U.S. is going to own 72.5% of it. That may not be a good thing. Remember East Germany's Trabant and other vehicles built by the government-owned companies in the old Soviet Union?

http://money.cnn.com/2009/05/29/news/companies/gm_fuzzy.fortune/index.htm

Now the greatest idea forced by the government....
The Feds forced them to cut advertising budgets by 60% and close 1100 dealers.....at 20 people per dealership on average that would be how many people? And how will that sell more cars? Ultimately it decreases awareness and availability at the same time. Oh and it has the added benefit of cutting more production for the sacred cow of union labor because they have to build fewer cars to stock the dealers.... Cutting the number of cars you have to pay to build might be a good move to curb overhead costs, but reducing outlets and will reduce sales even further. A better move would have been to ramp up advertising proved to be effective, and reduce the number of cars stocked at dealerships. Do they really need ten of each model? Could they get by with one of each model and have people order cars the way we used to buy cars back in the 70's?

In the end these changes have not changed the basic business model that has caused the down fall at GM and the is way over paying hours and executive workers across the board. If the employees at GM really wanted to save their company they would toss the UAW out and renegotiate a contract that would save the company as well as their jobs. Go ahead unionize, but get representation for collective bargaining that works with management not against them. The UAW and it's extortionist ways has cost unionized workers jobs not saved them. As compared to nonunion companies unions have lost 50% more jobs over the same time period and they only represent 17% of the hourly work force in the US. We all know the definition of insanity and its time to admit that the union movement is fatally flawed.

Definately put better tires on it, the pirelli's absolutely suck. Any kind of spirited driving melts em off in 20k miles or less.

The upgrade kits aren't badly priced either. The SS is actually a nice car. Seen some cat converters fail prematurely, but the only other kicker is that you gotta run Mobil1 in it (says it right on the oil cap)

Hey, I know I might get laughed at, but what do you think about the Cobalt as a good car to race?

I've been checking them out and they are really tearing it up in local street races as well as in official ones. (The SS with stage 3 kit is absolutely slammin!) It looks like there's a pretty decent tuner community forming for the car, plus there's sites I've seen like this one http://www.chevycobaltlabs.com where you can trick out a Cobalt, add performance, race, etc.

Anyway, thoughts? I would like to get a yellow SS and do some upgrading. Do you think money would be better spent elsewhere?
Corvette Generations - C4, C5, C6, what years are

I can't believe the c3 covered years from '68-'82
'68-mid '70s were true muscle cars.
Somewhere along '76 they were castrated. I had an '80. It looked OK, but 185hp with emissions and only availabel in a 3sp auto was rediculous.
IMHO '76-82 were the embarrassing years for Corvette!

I read today in one of the Swiss papers that the new Corvette broke the production care record at the Nurburgring
Corvette 7:26, Nossan GTR 7:29, Porsche Car 911GT2 7:32.

In the sport coupe class were three BMWs all in the 8 minute range. Led by the M3 CS

In the stationwagon (kombi) and sedan class the Cadillac set a new standard.
Cadillac CTS-V 7:59, Followed by the Audi RS4, and I forget

On the web I found
U.S. army says freed American hostages in "good condition"

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - Three U.S. defence contractors freed after five years as rebel-held hostages in Colombia are in good health and could go home within a few days, U.S. Army doctors said Thursday.

Keith Stansell, Marc Gonsalves and Thomas Howes arrived in San Antonio late Wednesday after being rescued by Colombian armed forces.

"They are in very good physical condition, very strong," Army physician Col. Jackie Hayes told a news briefing. "The results of their tests are pending at this time, but everything looks really well," he said.

Stansell was reunited privately with family members in San Antonio Thursday, and reunions with family were planned for Gonsalves and Howes later in the day, Army officials said.

How long the men remain in Army medical care is up to them, said Maj. Gen. Keith Huber, commander of U.S. Army South, the unit handling their transition back into civilian life.

"If their physical condition is excellent, the time they spend in this hospital could range from two to four days," Huber said.

The three employees of Northrop Grumman Corp, were captured in 2003 after their plane crashed during a counternarcotics operation in the jungles of Colombia.

A fourth contractor, Tom Janis, was killed by FARC shortly after the crash, Northrop Grumman said in a statement. The company also said it was "ecstatic" about the survivors' return.
Talked with a cousin of mine yesterday. He works for Cowin Equipment in Birmingham, Al. as a heavey equipment mechanic. I mentioned to him that I had been looking at F250 with a 6.0 Diesel. He recommended that I don't buy one. He said they have 3 of them for service trucks and have had nothing but trouble with them. One of them has 2 bad injectors and Ford wants $6,000 to replace them. He said they bought one of the new F250 with the new Diesel engine and have already had trouble with it. Has anyone else heard this?

Looked at a 2006 Kings Ranch with 37,00 miles for a little over $25,000. My neighbors' son works for a Ford dealership and he was saying that people that bought them 2 or 3 years ago are trading them in on smaller cars and their lot is loaded and they're not selling. Can't blame people and if I couldn't really use a truck I wouldn't be interested either. Gonna have to wait a little longer though.

It's a mystery. My last one was a 2003 E-350 Powestroke. I would get about 16 with tools and 11 pulling my trailer. This was highway milage. Had a 1993 7.2L before that and it would get 18 and 13 with the trailer. One of our carpet guys has a 2006 6.0L F250 and claims he gets 16 hauling a trailer with carpet. I would really like to know the average mileage on a 2005 or 2006 F250 crewcab with the 6.0lL engine. I've been pricing one and right now there is great deals.

250's are fine for lightduty work, but you'd better get a 350 if you plan to tow your jeep to Tellico.
2500HD's with the 8.1 are acceptable, the 6.0 is fine for towing ATV's and Bikes.
