Nice. Sure low mileage. I actually had a 2000 E350 van. Had trouble with the serpintine belt coming off. Had to leave the van in Dallas once for a week , at the Ford dealer, so they could repair the damage done when the belt came off. The problem was the pulleys were not aligned properly when the truck was built. The Ford place said the problem was with the vans and pickups. The problem happened to me on several occassions until the problem was solved. The diesel was strong and got excellent fuel mileage. Actually I'm looking for a 2006 - 2007. Knowing this will be the last truck I'll own, decided I'm going to get what I want. Too many times I've gotten what I really didn't want because of price. Not this time.

Thanks guys. I've been looking on e-bay and will travel to buy what I want. I found a 2006 with everything I wanted in Knoxville, Tn. but just missed buying it. They are hard to find in my area. I'll find what I want since I have plenty of time till next Spring. In the meantime I'll read everything I can. Still can't believe the price of new ones.
Thanks for the links, LT.

Found the info, thanks LT. By the way, momma said that she wants the Crew Cab. I had to agree or she won't let me have it. She likes the bigger back seats and as she stated , the kids ride with us to the races so get the 4 doors.

Mine is a super duty FX4x4 which is "the off road model". that gives you more skid plates to protect you undercarriage ar ar....and somewhat stiffer shock packages. you need "stiffer shocks right"?
Looks good, Dean. I know the prices have sure gone back up since diesels prices have come down.
I already have the trailer so hoping to have the truck soon so Jean and I can take about a 6 to 8 week trip next Spring. The company frowns on using the company trucks for personal trips. Plus that lousey gas engine the company stuck on us only gets between 7 to 8 miles to the gallon. The worse I ever got with the 7.3Liter diesels was 11 mpg. pulling the 30 ft. trailer with a slideout. And that was an E350 van loades with tools pulling the trailer.
Good luck with your new truck.

04" Super Duty 6.0 litre turbo diesel but you can prolly tell by the pics eh? 98k with all the goodies including a Banks tuned exhaust whick sounds like a 747 half the time but man what power!! Wanted the Lariet like E3 but drove through the lot like I always do on Mondays (costco run) and there it was....21K with the extended warranty..
Automakers enter into joint ventures all the time, witness the cooperation on a V6 engine years ago between Peugeot, Volvo, and Renault. While Ford sold off many of the other car companies they had, I believe they kept Volvo, please correct if I'm wrong, Bill. If there is any way for Ford to learn new efficiency procedures by working with Toyota, I say go for it. Toyota and other Japanese companies learned the same things from the Americans decades ago, this would just be returning the favor. What Ford needs to learn most of all is to plan much better than they have for the future, and to keep evolving that efficiency along with making better cars and trucks that get better gas mileage. I think Ford can do this, but they have to be really committed to it.
